DC-Gen: Post-Training Diffusion Acceleration with Deeply Compressed Latent Space

DC-Gen is a post‑training framework that accelerates text‑to‑image diffusion models by using a deeply compressed latent space. It first aligns the base model’s latent representations with a lightweight embedding alignment, then applies minimal LoRA fine‑tuning to preserve generation quality. Experiments on SANA and FLUX.1‑Krea show that DC‑Gen‑FLUX cuts 4K image generation latency by 53× on an NVIDIA H100 and, with NVFP4 SVDQuant, achieves a 138× total speedup on a single NVIDIA 5090 GPU.

UltraFlux: Data-Model Co-Design for High-quality Native 4K Text-to-Image Generation across Diverse Aspect Ratios

arXiv:2511. 18050v1 Announce Type: cross Abstract: Diffusion transformers have recently delivered strong text-to-image generation around 1K resolution, but we show that extending them to native 4K across diverse aspect ratios exposes a tightly coupled failure mode spanning positional encoding, VAE compression, and optimization.

Exploring the Performance Frontier of Compact Unified Image Generation Models

Swift-Image is a compact unified model that performs text-to-image generation, single-image editing, and multi-image editing using a 6B parameter DiT architecture. It employs a progressive training pipeline, parallel expert reinforcement learning, and multi-teacher distillation to balance diverse objectives, while a Prompt Enhancer decouples high-level reasoning from pixel-level rendering. After training, structural pruning and few-step distillation produce efficient 3B and accelerated variants that maintain near‑lossless performance and improve editing efficiency.

NeoMME: A Single-Tower Multimodal-Native Multilingual Foundation Encoder for Efficient Fine-Tuning and Inference

NeoMME is a family of 260M and 800M‑parameter multimodal‑native multilingual encoders that process text and raw image patches in a single bidirectional Transformer. Trained from scratch with a masked discrete‑diffusion objective conditioned on visible image patches, NeoMME supports a 16,384‑token context, enabling encoding of up to two 4K UHD images. In downstream tests, NeoMME‑Retriever models outperform all sub‑800M‑parameter baselines on the ViDoRe v3 benchmark and achieve twice the throughput of ColModernVBERT on an NVIDIA L40S, while hierarchical token pooling and asymmetric quantization compress embeddings 255× with minimal loss in retrieval performance.
