Retrieve to Act: Motion Primitive Graph Retrieval for Robust VLA Execution

Retrieve to Act (R2A) is a test‑time scaling framework that improves the robustness of Vision‑Language‑Action (VLA) policies to out‑of‑distribution visual shifts. It transforms OOD robustness into a geometric motion‑primitive retrieval problem by building an offline spatiotemporal motion‑primitive graph from successful training demonstrations. During inference, a graph neural network localizes the robot’s current state, retrieves compatible future motion primitives, and blends them with the frozen VLA’s actions via a learned gating mechanism, thereby correcting erroneous spatial trajectories while preserving local reactivity.

V-Link: Recovering Lost Visual Representations in Action DiT for Vision-Language-Action Models

V-Link is a method designed to enhance Vision‑Language‑Action (VLA) models by recovering visual representations during the transfer from vision‑language (VL) features to action (A) features. It introduces complementary Spatial and Semantic Query representations that are injected into Action DiT through asymmetric pathways, providing both semantic augmentation and dedicated geometric conditioning for action generation. Experiments on LIBERO, LIBERO‑Plus, RoboTwin 2.0, and real‑world AGIBOT A3 Ultra tasks show significant performance gains over the base GR00T N1.6 model.

Reinforcement Learning for Real-Time Vision-Language-Action Policies

The paper presents Real‑Time EXPO‑FT, a reinforcement learning framework that fine‑tunes large Vision‑Language‑Action models for real‑time robotic control. It separates slow, expressive action generation from fast, reactive edits, allowing a lightweight policy to adjust actions based on the latest observation. Experiments on the Kinetix benchmark and four dynamic real‑world tasks show that Real‑Time EXPO‑FT achieves superior performance, improving policy success rates from 42% to 97% with only ten minutes of online data and no human intervention.

ForeAct3D: Policy-Grounded Future World Modeling for VLA Policies

ForeAct3D is a framework that grounds future world modeling in Vision‑Language‑Action policies by decoding depth, semantic segmentation, and camera pose from policy representations into current and future 3D scene states. The future queries are conditioned on the policy‑generated action chunk, and a physical‑consistency closure enforces background staticity, instance‑level rigidity, and wrist‑camera pose alignment with end‑effector kinematics. This approach eliminates the need for future prediction at inference and achieves high success rates on LIBERO and CALVIN, outperforming the base policy across all suites.

G$^3$VLA: Geometric inductive bias for Vision-Language-Action Models

arXiv:2606. 24472v1 Announce Type: cross Abstract: Vision-language-action (VLA) models have made rapid progress in generalist robot manipulation by harnessing semantic knowledge from pretrained vision-language backbones, but their visual tokens remain grounded in 2D image coordinates rather than the calibrated geometry of the robot's cameras -- a mismatch especially pronounced in multi-camera setups, where views are coupled by known intrinsics and extrinsics yet processed as independent images.

VLA-$\Delta$: Learning Physical State Transition for Vision-Language-Action Models

VLA‑Δ introduces a framework that explicitly learns physical state transitions for vision‑language‑action models, using changes between current and future states as learning targets. The authors build a large‑scale pretraining dataset with physical state‑transition annotations that cover task‑relevant semantics and visual motion changes, providing direct supervision for continuous action generation. The resulting model performs competitively on LIBERO and RoboTwin benchmarks and outperforms π₀.₅ in real‑robot experiments, while requiring no extra inference overhead.

RARA: Robust Policy Fine-Tuning through Retrieval-Anchored Representation Alignment for Robotic Manipulation

RARA (Retrieval‑Anchored Representation Alignment) is a two‑stage method for fine‑tuning pre‑trained robot policies on new tasks with few demonstrations. It first retrieves and aligns representations from pre‑training that match the target task’s intent and motion, then fine‑tunes while constraining changes to those retrieved representations. Experiments on Diffusion Policy and GR00T across 13 tasks in simulation and on a real robot show RARA improves in‑distribution success by 9.5 points and out‑of‑distribution success by 13.6 points, outperforming all baselines.
