arXiv:2607. 04541v1 Announce Type: cross Abstract: Camera-radar (CR) fusion is a practical sensing configuration for autonomous driving, but existing models are typically trained with task-specific supervision, limiting reusable representation learning.
SV-WAM is a surround‑view world‑action model that keeps all six camera views while enabling efficient inference by discarding the video branch at deployment. It uses future‑video prediction as dense training supervision and an action‑centered causal mask to prevent action tokens from attending to future‑video tokens during joint denoising. A differentiable drivable‑area compliance regularizer penalizes vehicle‑footprint corners near or crossing drivable boundaries, improving safety and boundary awareness. Experiments on NAVSIMv2 and nuScenes show state‑of‑the‑art planning performance with low latency and strong zero‑shot transfer.

MILER is an end‑to‑end reinforcement learning framework that achieves zero‑shot sim‑to‑real transfer for autonomous driving in unstructured environments. It uses a custom semantic mid‑level representation (MLR) simulator for offline training, and during deployment it processes real camera and LiDAR data with BEVFusion to produce a compatible bird’s‑eye‑view representation. The policy’s actions are applied via a trajectory‑alignment strategy, allowing the system to drive 17.3 km on a 3.0 km test track without human intervention, all running on a Jetson AGX Orin.
The paper introduces LaPla, a Vision‑Language‑Action framework that uses a latent‑aligned planning approach to convert discrete semantic reasoning into continuous, physics‑constrained driving actions. It employs a residual VQ‑VAE to encode vehicle kinematics into a structured latent space, then projects multimodal inputs—images, past actions, and text—directly into this latent space, allowing a frozen decoder to generate physically plausible trajectories without quantization errors. Experiments on nuScenes and NVIDIA AlpaSim show LaPla reduces long‑horizon L2 error by 15.52% and improves closed‑loop success rates by 33.34 percentage points while cutting inference latency.
MC-DeTra is a reimplementation of the DeTra model that jointly performs object detection and socially-aware trajectory forecasting in bird's-eye-view images. It introduces motion-consistency mechanisms that add supervision from each actor’s past motion, surrounding traffic occupancy, and a consistency constraint aligning predicted heading with motion direction. The added losses are train‑only and inference‑safe, improving dynamic trajectory forecasting on the Waymo Open Dataset while maintaining or enhancing detection accuracy.
