DataSTORM: Deep Research on Large-Scale Databases using Exploratory Data Analysis and Data Storytelling

DataSTORM is an LLM‑based agentic system designed to conduct deep research over large‑scale structured databases and internet sources. It applies principles of Exploratory Data Analysis and Data Storytelling to frame research as a thesis‑driven analytical process, iteratively generating hypotheses, performing quantitative reasoning, and crafting coherent narratives. Evaluations on InsightBench and a new ACLED‑based dataset show that DataSTORM surpasses existing systems, achieving significant improvements in insight‑level recall and summary‑level scores.

Nomad: Autonomous Exploration and Discovery

Nomad is an autonomous system designed to explore and discover insights within large data corpora. It builds an explicit Exploration Map to systematically traverse a domain, generating and testing hypotheses with an explorer agent that leverages document, web, and database searches. After verification, it produces cited reports and meta-reports, and its evaluation framework assesses trustworthiness, quality, and diversity, showing superior performance over baselines on UN, WHO, and arXiv datasets.

Mind2Report: Expert-Level Commercial Report Synthesis via Cognitive Deep Research Agent

Mind2Report is a cognitive deep research agent designed to produce expert-level commercial reports from large, noisy web sources. It first clarifies detailed commercial intent to build a structured outline, then recursively gathers and validates evidence into a research memory that evolves with the outline, enabling iterative synthesis of comprehensive reports. The authors also introduce QRC‑Eval, a benchmark of 200 real-world commercial tasks, and show through extensive experiments that Mind2Report outperforms existing proprietary and open-source deep research agents, with ablation studies confirming the contribution of each component.

DeepWeaver: Bridging the Evidence Synthesis Gap in Open-Ended Question Answering

DeepWeaver is a framework designed to improve open‑ended question answering by weaving noisy retrieved evidence into comprehensive, well‑cited answers.
