Mimir is a physics‑grounded large language model agent designed for long‑horizon irrigation control. It operates on two timescales: a fast scale that uses a structured physical interface and deterministic simulator to validate and refine LLM proposals before execution, and a slow scale that consolidates recurrent failure patterns into persistent contextual principles. Across multiple sites, crops, and years, Mimir achieves the lowest aggregate control cost and reduces irrigation usage by about 51% compared to historical schedules, while ablation studies confirm the importance of forward simulation, verified revision, and persistent context.
arXiv:2607. 21268v1 Announce Type: cross Abstract: In many social-science research tasks, such as economics, LLM-based agents must produce outputs for which no cheap, task-complete, machine-readable correctness signal exists.
The paper introduces Atria Dawn Preview, a foundation agentic language model aimed at scientific research and engineering workflows. Trained through a Verifiable Experience Pipeline, it performs competitively across 16 real‑world benchmarks, achieving the highest scores on five. The authors also present a detailed case study of human–AI collaboration, showing that while AI proposes methods and revisions, humans retain final decision‑making and guide the research direction.
arXiv:2601. 21570v2 Announce Type: replace Abstract: The field of Embodied AI is witnessing a rapid evolution toward general-purpose robotic systems, fueled by high-fidelity simulation and large-scale data collection.
arXiv:2607. 07729v1 Announce Type: cross Abstract: As foundation models grow in scale and diversity, coordinating multiple models into cooperative reasoning systems offers a path toward safer, more reliable AI.
arXiv:2512. 19799v2 Announce Type: replace Abstract: Advances in LLM reasoning and tool use have enabled agentic science, yet frontier theoretical and computational physics remains challenging because research requires deep domain expertise, long-horizon reasoning, and reliable numerical computation.
arXiv:2610.00980v1 Announce Type: cross Abstract: Multi-agent AI scientists have shown improving performance across a diverse range of tasks. Yet a common approach is design-time agentic orchestratio...
ASI‑Bench is a new benchmark that evaluates AI systems on their ability to conduct innovative exploration and autonomous scientific research across 11 domains, using 60 project‑level tasks. It progressively removes human methodological guidance to test whether AI can independently select methods, execute research, and produce verifiable results. Results from 18 state‑of‑the‑art agent–model configurations show a sharp performance drop when guidance is reduced, indicating current systems still rely heavily on human input.
arXiv:2607. 02703v1 Announce Type: cross Abstract: In this paper, we describe LLMoxie, an institutional AI platform whose three-tiered architecture supports multi-cloud and on-premise inference, a LiteLLM/MLflow control plane for authentication, budgeting, PII masking, and observability, and an application augmentation layer for AI coding agents.
arXiv:2606. 12848v1 Announce Type: new Abstract: Large language models (LLMs) are increasingly used for tasks once reserved for trained researchers, including hypothesis generation, specification choice, and drafting conclusions.
arXiv:2607. 25090v1 Announce Type: new Abstract: Machine learning engineering (MLE) tasks require long-horizon decision making over iterative solution debugging and refinement, under expensive and feedback-driven environment interactions.
