ReState: Noise-Level-Aware State Correction for Training-Free Object Removal in Few-Step Diffusion Models

ReState is a training‑free method for object removal in few‑step diffusion models that corrects the masked clean prediction toward background evidence using a noise‑level‑aware weight that fades out at the final forward pass. It complements attention rerouting, requiring no additional denoiser evaluations, and outperforms existing training‑free techniques on two paired benchmarks and two distilled backbones, improving PSNR by an average of 3.17 dB. On the OBER‑Test set, ReState also surpasses a 50‑step attention‑forcing reference while running 6.7× faster.

Attention Routing Stabilizes Early: Working-Set Inference for Recurrent Language Models

The paper investigates how attention dynamics evolve across recurrent depth in language models, finding that attention support stabilizes early while hidden states and outputs take longer. It proposes WISE, a training‑free method that uses full attention in early steps and then reuses the discovered sparse working set for later steps, preserving performance on multi‑hop QA tasks. Experiments show that WISE maintains quality up to 2K context, offers measurable speedups, and highlights the importance of recurrent discovery of attention support.

OSOR: One-Step Diffusion Inpainting for Effect-Aware Object Removal

arXiv:2606. 28094v1 Announce Type: cross Abstract: Real-world object removal is challenging due to two key difficulties: the target object's non-local effects, such as shadows and reflections, which are difficult to model, and the fact that user-provided masks are often inaccurate or incomplete.

PreDiff-LM: Pretrained Discrete Masked Diffusion Language Modeling with Hybrid Attention

arXiv:2607. 25157v1 Announce Type: new Abstract: Discrete masked diffusion language models support bidirectional generation and infilling, but adapting pretrained autoregressive (AR) transformers requires reconciling causal pretraining with bidirectional denoising.
