WeAgent-MMSearch introduces a multimodal search agent that preserves retrieved images as persistent references, enabling the model to inspect, process, and cite them throughout a search trajectory. The system includes a harness (WeAgent-Harness), a post‑training method (FA‑GSPO) that recovers salvageable rollouts, and a new benchmark (VisTarget‑Bench) to evaluate image‑retrieval versus visual‑perception failures. Evaluation shows that agentic post‑training boosts performance by 19.22 points, allowing the model to outperform similarly sized open‑source models and compete with much larger ones.

The Pistis Technical Report introduces the Pistis model family, comprising 27B- and 9B-parameter multimodal large language models built on Qwen3.6 and Qwen3.5. The models are developed through a scalable post‑training framework that begins with large‑scale multimodal supervised fine‑tuning and then applies Interleaved Distillation and Reinforcement Learning (IDRL) to integrate on‑policy distillation and reinforcement learning within a single training loop. Two specialized variants—Pistis‑Thinking for deep multimodal reasoning and Pistis‑Agentic for long‑horizon planning, iterative reasoning, and tool use—are produced at both scales, and a system‑level method called Pistis‑Auto‑Harnessing (PAH) further improves inference harness performance without updating model parameters.

We present SimpleSearch-VL, an efficient, reliable, and practical framework for multimodal agentic search. Its core idea is to improve the agent's own search-and-verification process rather than scaling data, tools, or auxiliary model components.
IterSynth introduces a role-decoupled, iterative synthesis framework for deep search agents, separating planning and synthesis into distinct Planner and Synthesizer modules that maintain a persistent summary state. This design mitigates role coupling and context noise, while the new Role-Decoupled Policy Optimization (RDPO) enhances training by combining outcome rewards with turn-level rubric evaluations. Experiments on five long-horizon benchmarks show IterSynth-8B outperforming prior ≤8B agents by 4.2% and delivering significant zero-shot gains over ReAct on proprietary models.

MMSearch-OPD is a new approach for long‑horizon multimodal search agents that combines a controllable data refinement pipeline with joint reinforcement learning and on‑policy distillation. The refinement process expands reasoning chains from existing simple multimodal questions, allowing adjustable search depth and cross‑modal evidence requirements while reusing image–question pairs. Training uses answer rewards, behavior penalties, and a decaying distillation coefficient to guide the agent, and experiments demonstrate that both data refinement and joint training after supervised fine‑tuning improve long‑horizon multimodal search performance.
